It was my first year of college and since my university was closer, I decided to live with my aunt for a few months while I adjusted to college life. Little did I know that I would meet my future husband at her house. My cousins were always having their friends over while I usually chose to stay upstairs and work on my homework. One night I decided to take a break from homework and join my cousins and their friends to a Walking Dead/pizza get together and that's when I met Leif. I remember grabbing a slice of pizza, sitting down, and soon after he approached me. He introduced himself and for the rest of that night we talked for hours; completely missing the entire episode. From that day on we where inseparable. The past 11 years have been the best years of our lives. We have traveled to so many places together and experienced so many memorable things. Together, we have watched each other grow as individuals and have supported each other every step of the way, becoming each others biggest cheerleaders. There is no doubt in our minds that God placed both of us at my aunts house that night because he knew we needed each other. We couldn't be happier to become husband and wife. We are so grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family on our special day. It wouldn't be possible without the connections and support you all have provided throughout the years.
