It all started back in 2009 when we were paired on the dating website Yahoo Singles. There was definitely a mutual attraction, but we were in the free trial phase so we had to subscribe so we could talk to each other. We spent the first couple of weeks talking on the phone/texting then went on our first date on July 15, 2009. Larry asked Jenn to be his girlfriend four days later, and the rest is history!

We went on two vacations July of 2018 and I thought that Larry would pop the question on one of them. However, Larry wanted to keep me guessing. On a quiet August morning at our home he surprised me by getting on one knee as I came out to feed our cat Jello and asking me to marry him. I of course said YES, in between also saying “this has to be a dream!”
