Biltmore
We have been here several of times, and each time it is breathtaking. You will have to pay a fee for admission at the gate, but if you are coming to the Asheville area from out of town it is definitely a must see!
The Omni Grove Park Inn
The Omni offers an amazing view of the western mountains. Built with giant boulders collected from the surrounding mountainside, the Omni Grove Park Inn has welcomed ten U.S. Presidents, it boasts the largest collections of arts and crafts furniture, and it's listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. We highly recommend one of their dining experiences or even a day at their spa!
DuPont State Recreational Forest
There are hundreds of beautiful waterfalls scattered throughout the region, and many are easy to access within a short walk from the car. We have hiked all over DuPont, and promise it is worth it!
Blue Ridge Parkway
Dubbed “America’s favorite drive,” this 469-mile scenic road passes right through Asheville, you can't go wrong with a beautiful fall scenic drive!
Appalachian Mountain Brewery Taproom and Kitchen
This is one of the local breweries in Mills River where we both grew up! They are new and when we visit Asheville, it is easily one of our favorite date night spots!
Highland Brewing Company
This is Kyler's #1 recommendation in Asheville! This is his favorite brewery in town!
