Welcome to all of our Awesome Family and Friends! We are very excited to have you join us as we celebrate our love for one another. Our wedding will be held at Jack London State Park in lovely Glen Ellen, at the foot of beautiful Sonoma Mountain. We plan to have a rather simple ceremony, outdoors, (the photo above shows the site!), with reception at the same location immediately afterward. The weather in mid-May is usually mild, and the ceremony begins at 5:30 PM, so please dress accordingly. While inclement weather is a remote possibility, we are hopeful that the rain stays away; in any case, stay tuned to this page for the latest info. The reception will feature local fare, including wine from one of our favorite wineries, provided in a picnic-style setting amidst venerable heritage oaks. We look forward to sharing a memorable evening in this idyllic setting with our family and friends! LODGING, ETC: For those traveling here from out of town, the Sonoma Valley is a wonderful destination, but it can be pricey. We are in the process of gathering a list of lodging options for our guests to choose from, which we will feature on our Location and Lodging page. Hotel and B&B options in Glen Ellen tend toward the expensive end, but we will try to include some more economical options, also. Nearby Santa Rosa has a wide variety of choices, as well. There are several very nice restaurants right in Glen Ellen, and numerous outstanding wineries are located throughout the valley. We want your visit to be an experience you will always remember... GIFTS: We are both quite insistent that our guests do not bring gifts. Neither of us is "just starting out in life" (no, I did not say that we're old!), and the simple truth is that we already have lots of "stuff". Your presence as we celebrate our union is as much as we could hope for; so please, preserve your resources and enjoy a wonderful stay while you're here in our humble little village.

Well, the BIG DAY is tomorrow! Thank you all so much for planning to attend. It looks like the weather Gods are going to cooperate... Conditions are going to be mild and sunny on Sunday, with afternoon highs in the low 70's. The temp by "game time" will probably drop into the mid-60's, and will continue to fall as the daylight wanes, so bring a sweater for the evening. And, although we haven't experienced insects at the site, it may be a good idea to bring mosquito spray, too. When arriving at the gate, be sure to tell the attendant that you're with the wedding, because your admission into the Park has already been arranged.
