Which hotel is the wedding HQ?

Answer

The bride and groom and bridal party are staying at the Hilton Orrington in Evanston.

What is the best way to get around Evanston?

Answer

Evanston is a walking town. You can park and walk to many resturaunts and bars. The church and reception hall are about 6 blocks apart. Most hotels are within 2 blocks of the reception hall. We encourge everyone to stay close and walk, weather permitting.

Will there be dancing at the reception?

Answer

Bring your dancing shoes! Ken and I love to dance and we encourage everyone to join us on the dance floor. Plus we can show off what we learned from our dance lessons.

What are your cat's named for?

Answer

The cats known as the Brothers Orange are named Sid and Punk'n. Sid for Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols and Punk'n for Punk Rock. The bride's preferred choice of music next to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, of course!

What if I am not staying at a hotel or airbnb?

Answer

If you live locally, please consider taking an Uber or Lyft the day of the wedding. It is an adult only reception, and we want every one to enjoy themselves. If you want to let your hair down and dance, please make sure to have a designated driver.

Please come to the ceremony, and stay after. We would like to have pictures of Family and Friends. We will have a schedule of the order of pictures at the church, and we want everyone there to join us!

What's the deal with the after party?

Answer

Ok, so Evanston didn't have any venues that would take us late night. But after many phone calls and creative thinking we came up with a very viable alternative. A pub crawl. If you didn't know, Ken propsed to Jen right before they were to head out on a pub crawl for Saint Patricks Day. Naturally we like a good pub crawl, so we are doing a post wedding pub crawl. First stop will be Bat 17 on Benson! See you all there after the party.
