We've Got It Right This Time!

We started a profile on Hinge not knowing what was in store. Hoping that the next person in our inbox wasn’t a bore. He must have liked what was on my profile as he answered one of my questions first. He peaked my interest and had me hooked with his wit and charm and stunningly handsome good looks. That got us texting and suddenly........ we were immersed. The conversation lasted all throughout the day but the true test was later to come that determined whether I stayed and played. Many men were fearful at the thought of talking on the phone but I’ll be damned if he didn’t beat me to it and boy had my interest grown. As the smiles grew bigger and the laughter got louder I think we both knew we’d found the one. The one that we knew was out there but may have gotten lost in the desert being blistered by the sun. Then one day Joe finally found the courage to get down on one knee. We were surrounded by members of our immediate family. For a moment I was speechless and could barely even breathe. There wasn’t a moment’s hesitation when I was able to finally agree. I knew for a long time that it was him I wanted to marry. Envisioning a day without him by my side is pretty freaking scary. As we excitedly plan for this day to arrive I still can’t believe that in a little under a year from now, I’m going to be his bride! In October 2022 what a joy it will be to finally be officially one big happy blended family!
