She’s been with me my whole life — my older sister, my built-in best friend, and my fiercest protector. Being Matron of Honor may not have been on her 2025 bingo card, but like always, she showed up — because that’s just who she is. She’s always there when it matters most. When I was going through my toughest times — during my medical challenges, hospital stays, and endless appointments — she was right there beside me. She drove me, sat with me, made sure I felt supported, and was the big sister I needed most in those moments. She was the first to make me an aunt, and the one who introduced me to the kind of love only a nephew can bring. She even introduced me to Ronny, my brother from another mother — another gift I didn’t know I needed until she brought him into my world. We’ve had the kind of bond that only sisters can understand — love you, hate you, but love you again… and again. No matter what, we’re inseparable, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m beyond lucky to have her not just by my side on this day, but in every phase of life. I love you, and I thank you — for everything.

Best Man
My little brother may be younger than me, but he’s a man I deeply admire and look up to. He’s always been there for me — steady, strong, and fiercely loyal. One of the most generous and resilient people I know, he served our country with pride and honor in the U.S. Army. Today, he and his incredible wife, Claudia, are raising three amazing kids who bring so much joy and light into our lives. Having him by my side as my Best Man is more than a tradition — it’s a privilege. I’m proud to be his brother, and even prouder to call him my friend.

Bridesmaid (But also -2nd Maid of Honor)
Socorro may be listed as a bridesmaid, but let’s be real — she could easily be my second Maid of Honor. She’s been the biggest cheerleader for this relationship, this wedding, and for us as a couple. If you asked me who the godmother or guardian angel of our love story is — it’s her. No question. Her enthusiasm, encouragement, and love helped bring this day to life. We truly wouldn’t be here planning this wedding without her. We’ve been friends for what feels like forever — through so many phases of life, including some of the hardest ones. And no matter what, she’s always been one of my strongest rocks: a confidant, a shoulder to cry on, my voice of reason, and the person I can always vent to without judgment. Her advice? Always solid. Her support? Unshakable. She stood by me during one of the most difficult times in my life — through countless hospital visits and home visits. She was there for me, and also for Jose — offering comfort, laughter, and (false promises of tacos 😂) when we both needed a lift. Socorro, I was so happy when you said “yes” to being a bridesmaid — but in my heart, you’re so much more than that. I love you. We love you. Thank you for being part of our lives, and for being one of the biggest reasons this day is even possible.

This young man will always have a special place in my heart. He’s my brother’s firstborn — and watching him grow into the incredible man he is today has been both an honor and a privilege. From the time he was little, anytime I was around, he’d want to wrestle, play, or just hang out with me. We liked the same things, did the same things — and that connection has always meant a lot to me. So when it came time to choose who would stand by my side as I marry my queen, asking Dominic was a no-brainer. I’m proud of the man he’s become, and even prouder to have him as my groomsman.

We’ve been friends since the early 2000s — I know, I know… that makes us sound old (lol). But seriously, we’re talking over 20 years of friendship — and through it all, Elsbeth has been one of my very best friends. We first met as coworkers, but it didn’t take long for our connection to grow into something so much deeper. I’ve had the joy of watching her meet her now-husband and build a beautiful family together. She’s an amazing mother, somehow juggling family and professional life with the grace of someone who makes it all look easy. I call her Superwoman — because honestly, who else can do what she does? Elsbeth has been by my side through some of the hardest moments of my life — especially during my medical struggles. She’s been my confidant, my cheerleader, and my shoulder to cry on more times than I can count. And in turn, I’ve been lucky to cheer her on as she’s grown and thrived. Our friendship is built on love, loyalty, laughter, and years of mutual support. I truly can’t imagine my life without her, and I’m so grateful she said “yes” to standing by my side as a bridesmaid. Elsbeth, I love you deeply — thank you for being you.

David is the guy who brings light to the room without even trying ☀️. He can turn a bad day around with just a laugh, a joke, or one of his signature sarcastic comments 😏. He’s been that source of humor and heart for as long as I’ve known him. But beyond that, David played a huge role in my love story 💘. He introduced me to Stephanie, who would later introduce me to Jennifer — the love of my life 💍. So yeah… you could say he’s a pretty important part of all this. He’s the kind of friend who shows up with the right words and the right energy at the right time 🤝. He’s been by my side for years, and now I’m honored to have him beside me as I take this next step.

Brisa may be known to the world as my sister-in-law, but in my heart, she’s simply my sister. From the moment we met, she welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like part of the family — like we had known each other all our lives. That instant bond is something I’ll always be grateful for. Brisa is beautiful inside and out — a strong, resilient woman, a wonderful mother to our nephews and niece, and someone I deeply admire. I look up to her more than she knows. I feel incredibly lucky to have her not only in my life, but by my side as one of my bridesmaids. Thank you for embracing me with love, and for being such a powerful, steady light in our family. I love you so much.

I’ve known Omar for over 20 years, and in all that time, he’s been a constant — loyal, dependable, and always just a call away 📞. His family welcomed me from the beginning, treating me like one of their own ❤️. I’ve been invited to their parties, family gatherings, and even their fridge 😂— and it’s always felt like home. Omar isn’t just someone to laugh with or talk trash to (though we do a lot of that) 😆—he’s someone I can count on through anything. We’ve grown up together, seen each other through high and low points, and no matter what, he’s always shown up. To me, Omar isn’t just a friend — he’s family 👊. That’s why having him stand by my side on my wedding day means more than I can put into words.

Dahlia, also technically my sister-in-law, but to me, she’s simply my sister — always has been, always will be. She entered our lives and instantly became family in every way: calling my mom Mom, my dad Dad, my siblings sister and brother, and me sister too. It’s like she was the missing piece we didn’t even know we needed — and now we can’t imagine life without her. She’s the mother of my one and only Quiros niece, and watching her juggle motherhood, passion, creativity, and resilience has been nothing short of inspiring. She never gives up — always chasing her dreams, taking bold risks, and making art with her life. I truly look up to her and strive to follow her fearless example. She’s also the dancer of the family (seriously — she’s got moves), and I hope she leads the charge on the dance floor and gets everyone moving! Dahlia, I’m beyond lucky to call you my sister and to have you standing with me as a bridesmaid. I love you so much — thank you for being such a bright light in my life.

Thanks to Omar, I got to know Will years ago — and from the very beginning, it felt like we were already family 🧡. He’s easy to talk to, great to hang out with 🍔, and always ready to go deep into nerd territory 🎮🎲 over games, movies, or whatever we’re obsessing over at the time. What I admire most about Will is how real he is. You can sit with him for hours doing nothing and still walk away feeling like it was time well spent 🛋️. He’s got a sharp sense of humor, a big heart, and the rare ability to make any space feel more fun and more relaxed 🎉. Whether we’re grabbing food, cracking jokes, or tag-teaming the roast of Omar and David 😅, Will brings a kind of calm energy I truly value. I’m lucky to have him in my life — and grateful he’s standing beside me on this day 🕺.
