The world of technology brought us together. We discovered each other on Match.com and after a few conversations decided it was time to meet in person. Jennifer was on break from nursing school and studying for her pediatric rotation, when she received a text message from Jody. Jody said he had some shopping to do after work at Wal-Mart and was coming to McPherson to do it. Of course, Jennifer could not say no so she jumped in the shower and got herself all fixed up. Jody called Jennifer and told her what time to be at Wal-Mart and told her to "come find him". He wouldn't tell her what he was wearing except for brown boots! After some joking back and forth Jennifer accepted the challenge. As she rounded the corner of the blender aisle, looking at everyone's shoes lol, she spotted some brown boots! She looked up and did not have to say a word as the look on his face said it all! We wandered around Wal-Mart just continuing to get to know each other, and finally Jennifer realized he did not have anything in his cart! Jody admitted he did not need anything but just wanted to meet her. They ditched the cart and went over to Braum's for an ice cream! They then decided to go to Jennifer's apartment in McPherson to show him where she lived (he just did not appear to be a serial killer). Jennifer took him the back way to the apartment, and poor Jody thought she was taking him to the countryside to high jack him! They made it safe and sound and shortly after bid good-bye. The rest is history. Eight years later we are TYING THE KNOT!
