CHANGE OF PLANS

We decided to elope!

We truly appreciate the love and support of our friends and families. We were planning a big wedding, then after booking the venue, decided eloping would be best for us. We hope to celebrate with you all, later down the road!

How it all began as told by Jake

Can I order a wedding cake?

JAKE: It all began at Publix. I was the Grocery Manager & Jenny was the Catering Consultant. Nearly everyday, I would make it a point to jokingly order a wedding cake from Jenny. Two personalities that were electric, it was nearly impossible to keep us apart. It was like a gravitational pull that kept us attached at the hip. I finally built up the courage to ask Jenny on our first date to lunch - Buffalo Wild Wings. This was a strategic move on my behalf, given that Jenny is a wing connoisseur. Jenny accepted the invite, even though she thought I was cute, but wasn't completely sold on this whole idea of "Jake". Despite the loads of buffalo sauce & ranch all over my face - it was history from there. More conversation led to more dates, more dates led to making it official, and making it official eventually led to buying a home together and building a beautiful life with their little family. Little did we know, a couple years later, it would be our wedding cake that would eventually be ordered.

How it all began - Through Jenny's Eyes

IF HE ASKS ME FOR CAKE ONE MORE TIME ....

JENNY: Jake and I met while working at Publix but I honestly didn't think much of him other than he was kinda cute. Flash forward a year or so, Jake broke up with his ex-girlfriend a few months ago and I was just doing my thing as usual lol. He asked said "Hey I'm single now, you want to grab a couple drinks sometime". I said sure but I didn't think much of it. THEN we went out to lunch a few times (sauce all over each time), started talking a little more and I liked him, but I just wasn't sure if Jake was the one for me and didn't want to waste my time. But Jake never gave up, he showed up and showed out! A complete gentlemen. My friends at work always talked about how great he was and I needed to get over his age because he treated me very well, and he was pretty mature and established for his age. Well one night, he wanted to cook for me, so let him. After our steak and shrimp home cooked meal we sat on the couch and watch a movie. I remember thinking at this moment... this feels kinda nice.. I think I like this... And here we are! Sure we have our differences, lots of them! However, making the decision to spend the rest of my life with the most amazing man I know, is the best decision ever!
