soon to be wed

We like to credit our good friend Arty (who is now a groomsman) with our chance meeting at The Good Bar in Long Beach. He bought drinks for a girl who was there with a friend, which happened to be Jen, and his wingman that night happened to be Jake. Arty denies credit because in truth, it was luck. The best kind of luck brought us together and hasn't faltered, leading to where we are so grateful to be today. Our anniversary before marriage has been October 28th, the same day we met in 2017. We aren't sure when it was official, because we were inseparable after that. We had the most automatic trust and understanding between us, which allowed our love to grow quickly and deeply. Combined with our shared values, interests and so much laughter, there has never been an obstacle that hasn't made our respect and affection for each other stronger. Since that chance meeting at a bar, over these 6 years we have created a life and home together that we wouldn't trade for anything. As we plan to continue building on this foundation all our lives, we can't wait to find out what other joys life will bring us, to realize all we can achieve together, and to stand by each other regardless. This time in preparation for our wedding has been more exciting and so much more special than we could have known. The enthusiasm and support of our loved ones makes this all so worthwhile. This wedding is not just about us, otherwise we would have gone to the courthouse! Our dream is to bring all of you, our families and friends together for an amazing time and an unforgettable memory. We want everyone to have FUN, to share this joy with us and with each other!
