Jack and Jen knew of each other long before they officially met. After seeing each other around for a few years and having lots of mutual friends, they were at the same New Year's Eve party. Jennifer decided she wanted to get to know Jack better, unbeknownst to him. A few weeks later, she found herself at a party at Jack's Edmonton house, and the two started chatting. They were beer pong partners (and won, I'm sure) and spent the evening hanging out. It wasn't until April (10th, to be exact) that Jack texted Jennifer. They had both moved home from university due to Covid. They have been together ever since, and officially started dating May 22nd, 2020. They started their teaching careers at the same time, have been on vacations to Boston, Chicago, Disneyland, and Phoenix, and in April 2024 they bought a beautiful home together. They could not imagine a better life together and are very excited to get married this July.
