We've booked the entire hotel for the night of the 22nd through breakfast the morning of the 23rd. Come early for check in at 3pm. We'll have the place to ourselves! Each room in the hotel is named and decorated in homage to an author. We've chosen a room specifically with you in mind (it's on us). Please give your name to the front desk upon arrival. Check in at 3pm on July 22nd, check out at 11am on July 23rd. **Please feel free to poke around and enjoy the rooms if a room has been left open. The hotel will only be open to wedding guests. Additionally, please lock your door if you wish, for privacy or security, so others know whether or not they can take a peek.
We respectfully request you leave your phones and cameras in your room or in that fantastic dress that has pockets. Please don't photograph during the ceremony. We love photographic evidence as much as the next Insta celebrity, but we're unplugging to spend some quality time with our community and with each other.
Please do. We'd love to hang out! A handful of wedding guests, the bride, and the groom will arrive on Saturday. We don't have a schedule past eating as much beach taffy as possible. The hotel only books two night stays. Please let them know you belong to the Tyler/Holman wedding party and they'll use Sunday night as part of your reservation. The hotel fills up several months to a year in advance, If you wish to book the weekend, please do it early! Please let us know what day you'll be arriving on your RSVP.
The hotel is pretty severe about things being on fire in the building. Cranky, lady in her nightgown showing up in your room at 3am, severe. The hotel is right on the beach; please take a buddy and take it outside, so we don't get kicked out prior to our honeymoon. We'd have to come honeymoon with you... how weird would that be?
To food? Community dinner will be served family style. We've included vegetarian and carnivore options. Please let us know if you have food allergies on your RSVP. To cats? There is a cat, she wanders freely throughout the hotel and rooms. Please let us know on your RSVP that you are allergic to cats. We'll ask the hotel staff to suck up as much fuzz from your room as possible.
We love your kids, we really do! Unfortunately, this isn't a kid friendly venue; and to be honest, we want you all to ourselves! Please make overnight arrangements for your kids.
Steep flight of narrow stairs from lobby to second floor and second floor down to dining area. ADA rooms are on the first floor. Ramp to the right, outside, when facing building, will lead you to the wedding ceremony as well as dinner. Please be advised the ramp is steep. Please let us know if you'd prefer a chair for the short ceremony. Please let us know of any access concerns on your RSVP.
