It’s happening!

Funny enough Gavin and I went to high school together! We didn’t know each other since he was a senior and I was a freshman. Jump to summer of 2017 we were both working as paraprofessionals for KCCS summer school. After the school year started Gavin waited until September to ask me out and the rest is history....

We had just finished our 1st week out of 3 in Maine and Gavin made sure to “plan” a day out in Portland for us and a few friends. I spent all morning getting ready for our day in Portland while Gavin was making sure no one was around at the house....he already knew I did not want to be proposed to in front of people. Gavin got down on one knee and we were both too busy crying to realize he didn’t even ask me to marry him. After reminding him that he had a question to ask, I said yes! Not only was it a perfect proposal but Gavin had planned a surprise engagement party for us and surprised me with my entire family staying with us for a week in Maine. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
