FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Watch this space for updates, once formal invites are sent out!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your invite!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

If driving and staying for the weekend, we recommend researching parking availability offered by or near your accommodations. There is no dedicated parking at the church for the ceremony, but street and/or parking garages are always an option in NYC (we suggest a quick google). Parking will be available if needed at Tavern on the Green for the duration of the reception.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Reception is Black Tie Required.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is indoors, cocktail hour is indoors and dinner/dancing are tented!

Question

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

For guests planning to wear heels, we recommend something stacked for ease of city street walking and cobblestone dancing - dinner/dancing is in the garden so flooring is rustic (read cracks where stilettos may be problematic).

Question

Will I have to pay for parking?

Answer

Parking will not be provided or guaranteed. For scheduled events, we strongly recommend Ubers, Lyfts, taxis or walking!

Question

What about COVID?

Answer

Neither the ceremony nor reception will be socially distanced. Masks will not be provided but of course welcomed at your discretion. As of Fall 2021, The Tavern on the Green (like all NYC restaurants) requires proof of vaccination for indoor dining upon entrance. Please be sure to carry your proof of vaccination on your person!
