No. To ensure we can properly plan for all guests, we ask that you respond by this date. Regretfully, we will not be able to include anyone who does not RSVP before this deadline, as space and catering are strictly limited. Your timely response means the world to us whether you are able to attend or not!
For our special day, we've decided to keep our wedding adults-only (21+), so everyone can fully relax and enjoy the evening with us. We hope you'll take this as a chance for a special date night. Only guests listed on invitation are invited.
Our ceremony and reception will both take place at Punto Morro Hotel in Ensenada, BC Mexico. The cocktail hour and reception will IMMEDIATELY follow the wedding ceremony so have your dancing shoes ready and your powder up kits on you!
We kindly request BLACK TIE FORMAL. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie; ladies, a floor length gown, or elegant pantsuit would be lovely.
We'd love for you to stay with us at Punta Morro Hotel where all the wedding festivities will take place! Our venue offers luxurious rooms with ocean views and doubles as a foodie paradise as home to one of Ensenada's most acclaimed restaurants, featured in the prestigious Michelin Guide! Punta Morro provides 24/7 onsite security and guarded parking available for all guests. We've also listed a few of our other favorite hotels nearby on our "Hotels" page that we've stayed at and enjoyed on our frequent visits to Ensenada.
Your love and well-wishes are the most important gifts of all. If you would like to contribute in another way, a monetary gift will help us as we plan for our future together.
YES- Ensenada is a popular spot for San Diegans and a Carnival Cruise Stop, with low restrictions for tourists. Stick to main roads, tourists areas, and use common sense (like anywhere). The wedding venue is beautiful and welcoming and conveniently located right off the main road just before you enter the busy streets of Ensenada.
YES! All U.S. citizens need a valid U.S. Passport book or passport card to enter Mexico by land and to return to the U.S
The easiest way is a scenic 90-minute drive south on I-5/I-805 to the Tijuana border, then take the toll road (highway 1D Cuota- smooth, safe and about $6-10 in tolls each way) Bring small bills and loose change as sometimes toll booths do not offer change for big bills ($20 and greater) Consider carpooling, following friends/family, or looking into shuttle services if you don't want to drive.
Crossing both ways can vary from 15 minutes to a couple hours especially on weekends and Friday afternoons. Have passports and be prepared for questions. **WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND CROSSING INTO MEXICO THURSDAY OR FRIDAY BEFORE NOON! ** Our recent experiences crossing into Mexico on Friday afternoons have been HORRIBLE with waits up to 3 hours due to many workers commuting back home for the weekend. Coming back to the U.S is pretty straightforward especially with SENTRI/GLOBAL if you have it.
Ensenada in June is typically mild and sunny (70-80 degrees) with ocean breezes. Pack layers for evenings, Swimsuits for the afternoons!
Please feel free to call or text either of us! We will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have! Jennifer: (619) 348-3998 Gabe: (619) 274-2856
