It’s finally happening!

Ivan loves telling this story, so here is his side as told by Jennifer: Ivan never likes being early to class. He is either on time or five minutes late because he likes to see the "room". Supposedly he noticed little me, and decided he was going to get my number on Wednesday when we had that class again. Tuesday came and messed up all his plans. Surprise I was in all his class Tuesday classes too. That meant I was in every single of his classes. He says to this day that it was a sign from God to get my number. In his head he is so awesome that God is his wingman. Really I'm the awesome one if I am heaven sent, but love is about giving. So I let Ivan think whatever makes him laugh lol. Buuuut this almost did not happen. I promise on my heart that I put my number in his phone. Ivan says that when he looked at his phone back in his apartment that my number was not saved! Next day he does not come up to talk to me, so I go and say hi. After awhile he is kind of annoyed and asks why am I talking to him if I did not want to give him my number yesterday. That it is cool that decide who I talk to but he would rather just be study buddies. I was shocked. I quickly told him that I promised I put gave him my number and that I waited for him to text me. He believed me and now here we are lol. From Atlanta United games, to hiking Mount Yonah, Blood Mountain, Panther Creek, Brasstown Bald, to J Balvin and Enrique Iglesia concerts, to day trips up the winding mountain roads on Tail of the Dragon, to adopting Sombra and Luna, to weekly Tuesday AMC discount movie dates, to 2 years of marriage, we are excited to be able to celebrate this special day with our loved ones. We can’t wait to see you all and party and drink with each and every one of you!

We had brunch at Anis Bistro in Atlanta, super yummy and perfect weather for it. Ivan had warned Jennifer to wear comfortable shoes. Jennifer wanted to wear her new wedges so clearly she did. After brunch it was time to go walk at piedmont park. The wedges were a terrible idea! After strolling through the park and couple of bottles of wine .. and some minor bunions, a target run was needed. Emergency comfy shoes! After some Atlanta traffic, it was suddenly dinner time. Our first date was at Fellinis Pizza on ponce. We were feeling a little nostalgic after the wine, so we had to go back. Ivan said some of his friends were in Atlanta and wanted to join us. We ordered our pizzas and more wine lol. We all ate, drank, and laughed. Later we decided to walk off the pizza. We took the wine to go and headed to Jackson Street bridge. Everyone knows if you want a perfect photo of Atlanta Jackson Street bridge is the spot. A warm Spring night. The gang cracking jokes. A warm breeze under the street lights. The night was perfect. Little did I know all this was Ivan's plan all along. Atlanta is where we met. Where we shared so many incredible moments. Under the Atlanta Sun is where our love grew. Under the moon it evolved. Ivan comes behind me and wraps his arms around me, and slides the ring on to my finger. I immediately started to cry when I noticed what just happened. He looks at me and asks "Yeah?". Slowly goes down to one knee because he must not crease the shoes. You know Ivan. He always has to do it his way lol. Best Atlanta Day ever. Picture time! As Jennifer looked towards the skyscrapers and buildings at dusk under the street light, Ivan and his friends prepared for photos for a surprise engagement. Suddenly, Ivan was down on one knee and tears ensued. A happily newly engaged Atliens couple.
