The Dalí Museum celebrates the life and art of the influential and innovative artist, Salvador Dalí.
The MFA, a city landmark, opened to the public in 1965—the first art museum in St. Petersburg located on the downtown waterfront. The MFA is proud to have within its walls the only comprehensive art collection of its kind on Florida’s west coast. Highlights include masterpieces from Monet, O’Keeffe, Morisot, Wiley, and others, two gardens, and one of Florida’s most respected photography collections.
Sunken Gardens is a lush, tropical oasis home to more than 50,000 exotic tropical plants and birds from around the world, including its iconic flamingo flock. At more than 100 years old, Sunken Gardens is St. Pete’s oldest living museum.
In addition to The Vinoy, St. Pete is home to another historical hotel, The Don Cesar. The hotel is located on the beautiful white sands of St. Pete Beach. The hotel opened in the heyday of the Gatsby era in 1928. From high society's playground to starring on the silver screen to being a Gulf Coast icon, The Don Cesar boasts a rich and glamorous history.
