What should I wear on the day of the wedding?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal! Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Keep in mind- this is a garden venue in the winter! Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors, but there will be moments when you will be walking outside. Please dress and layer accordingly! A note on footwear: There is a short walk from the ceremony space to the cocktail/reception space, and it's possible that you'll be walking on various terrain- dirt, stone and pebble, astro-turf, asphalt, etc. So wear shoes that are comfortable - or bring an extra pair!

See below for hors d'oeuvres and dinner selections. Dinner will be served family style, so you'll be able to sample everything! If you have a dietary restriction and require a specialty meal, please be sure note it on your RSVP. What's the parking situation like?

Complimentary valet will be available to accommodate your vehicles should you decide to drive to the venue. Please consider having some cash on hand for tips.

What are the closest hotels to the venue?

Answer

Welk Resorts is the closest accommodation to the venue, at about 6mi away. There is also Pala Casino Resort Spa, which is about 8mi away. There are a ton of other hotels and resorts in the area, as well as vacation rentals if you decide to go in that direction. Cities close to the ocean such as Oceanside and Carlsbad are closest to the venue. There more of a distance away- 20-3- miles away- but you'll be sure to find more accommodation there as well.
