We're getting married!

We met at a work event and Deone signed up for any training for Target that had a “Jennifer” in it hoping to meet me again. He was living in Long Island at the time and came all the way to the city for a training just to meet little ol me again! He came in dressed all snazzy and I definitely noticed him. We made the promise to keep in touch as we parted ways that day, of course with me asking for his digits! Our first date - dinner and a movie followed up with some gambling at yonkers race way and the rest is history.

With a planned family cruise, Deone made sure the two were dressed to the nines on the elegant dinner night. Dinner kicked off with a speech from Jen's uncle about the importance of family. Deone picked up where he left off, with Jen's eyes sending daggers of confusion, he continued to talk about how welcoming the family has been and how happy he is to be a part of it before discussing how deeply he loves Jen. He dropped down on one knee with a ring she could only dream of. She stood there in shock and silence before putting the ring on herself. The 14 family members there cheered and celebrated the moment while Deone and Jen embraced each other and acknowledged the promise of forever!
