FAQs

We are hard at work to answer as many questions as possible. Below are a few responses we have so far:
Question

When should I arrive in Maui?

Answer

The wedding ceremony is Thursday, February 12, 2026. Most flights will be in excess of 5 hours in length. Therefore, we recommend arriving no later than Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Please remember you are flying in February, so winter weather may cause delays, please plan accordingly.

Question

What will we do in Maui?

Answer

We are planning multiple optional group activities that you are welcome to join. The current pending ideas are: Road to Hana Self-Guided Group Caravan, Whale Watching Tour, Surfing Lessons, Farm Tour, multiple meals, and we will have some relaxing beach and pool days. We will provide more details and gauge interest as we get closer to the date. These will also appear in the "Things To Do" section of our website.

Question

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be outdoors, rain or shine. The wedding reception will be in a tent or indoors.

Question

Is there a room block rate?

Answer

Yes. At the Sheraton Maui. Please use the website link in Travel section or call the Honolulu Reservations office at (808) 921-4645 or 1-800-782-9488 to make their reservations. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Hawaii Standard Time.

Question

What is the best airport to use?

Answer

The primary airport on Maui is Kahului Airport (OGG). If you are island-hopping, you may be able to secure a flight to Kapalua Airport (West Maui) and Hana Airport. However, it is our understanding Kapalua Airport (West Maui) and Hana Airport are just used for specific destinations such as flights between the Hawaiian Islands.

Question

What is semi-formal beach attire?

Answer

For women, this could include knee-length, tea-length, or midi dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy rompers, often in light, breathable fabrics (linen, cotton, chiffon, etc.) in solid colors or with subtle prints or beachy accents. For footwear, wedges, chunky sandals, or dressy flats that can handle sand or grass are good choices. Please refrain from wearing white as white will be reserved for the bride. Men can opt for linen or light-colored suits, dress pants with a button-down shirt (with or without a jacket), or a sport coat with dress pants, a tie is optional. For footwear, loafers, boat shoes, or clean-cut canvas sneakers are suitable for a beach semi-formal event.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We have very limited capacity for the wedding venue, if the person was not included on the save the date or invite we are unable to accommodate them for the wedding and reception. However, please feel free to have someone accompany you in your travels to Maui and stay at the hotel with you.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions or need accommodations?

Answer

Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or accommodations no later than December 8, 2025.

Answer
