FAQs

Question

Where should we park the day of?

Answer

There is parking in front of and behind Mothership on Main, however, the Danbury Masonic Temple at 337 Main Street in Danbury is graciously opening up their parking lot to us, as well.

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

Mothership on Main is known for their organic, locally-sourced, made-from-scratch cafe fare - but that certainly does not mean you'll be leaving the reception hungry! Following the ceremony, iced tea, coffee, beer, and a small selection of cocktails will be available alongside fruit, cookies, and crostata. Main course will be served buffet style and include chicken and waffles, an omelet bar, and kale salad. For the wedding cake, we will be challenging tradition by serving lemon curd pie and tarts!

Question

What if I have food allergies?

Answer

As there are known nut allergies in our family, no nuts will be served at the wedding. If you have any allergies we should be aware of, please let us know as far ahead of time as possible and we will do our best to accommodate.

Question

Are there vegetarian and vegan options?

Answer

At the moment, our only true vegan option is the kale salad, however, the omelet bar and waffles served plain should be suitable for vegetarians - please contact us as soon as possible if this isn't so.

Question

What should guests bring?

Answer

Connor and I are so excited to get the family together for a happy occasion! First and foremost, bring yourselves, your plus one and an appetite. We will be bringing a keg of beer, mead for toasting, and fixings for mimosas and bloody marys, so you are welcome to bring along a favorite Pinot or six-pack, but no hard liquor please. You are also welcome to bring party games like Moniker, Exploding Kittens, and Cards Against Humanity (for a family-friendly game ... kids present).

Question

Open Bar or BYOB?

Answer

A little bit of both - we'll provide a keg of beer, mead for toasting and the fixings for bloody marys and mimosas. You are more than welcome to bring along your favorite wine or beer, but please, no hard liquor.
