FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We do want to caution that this is an outdoor wedding, in May, that does require some walking through grass. That being said, our "dress code" would be considered cocktail attire. This could mean wearing cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, sports coats and slacks. The wedding party, bride and groom will be wearing sneakers, so we encourage you all to wear your favorite sneakers as well!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend staying within the hotel block, located at the Home2 Suites in Frederick, that we have outlined in the travel section of our website. This hotel will be where the bride and groom is staying. If unable to stay at this location, there are many hotels within a few-mile radius of this hotel and the venue itself.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

As you know, we are no stranger to food allergies. Please alert of us any food allergies during the RSVP process. If you are concerned, reach out to us directly and we will be certain that you have all food allergies considered when dinner/cocktail hour is being served.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception will both be held at Dulany's Overlook. There will be plenty of parking available at the venue. Additionally, we will be offering shuttle services that will leave from the Home2 Suites in Frederick. The shuttle will bring all guests to and from the venue.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle arranged to take all guests to Dulany's Overlook for the ceremony and reception. The same shuttle will then bring all guests back to the hotel at the conclusion of the evening.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. If you arrive past that point, you will not be allowed into the ceremony area, but will be welcomed to join us at the cocktail hour location. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early so that you are able to park, walk to the ceremony site, and get seated before the ceremony begins.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We appreciate you considering our registry, and can confirm we are registered! We have a linked registry here on our Zola website, and you can find our Amazon registry by searching Jennandcoley on Amazon directly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are invited to attend our Welcome Event at RAK Brewing. However, while we love children, unless your child plays a critical role in the day (flower girl, ring bearer), we will be keeping the ceremony and reception an adult only event.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are asking that everyone RSVPs on our wedding website no later than April 19th, however, please feel free to RSVP as soon as you know if you will joining us, the earlier the better for our planning purposes.
