Cody & Jen met the same way any young couple does today, on a dating app. Cody's profile said he wanted to find someone to spend the rest of his life with (and he did!). After they matched, Cody asked Jen out for breakfast at a local diner. Unfortunately for Cody, this was the summer Jen had planned to spend the whole summer traveling to visit her brothers in Europe, attend her brothers wedding in Ireland, and spend some much needed time at home with family. She would be gone for 3 months, and she was leaving that week. Cody understood and said when she got back from her trip his offer for breakfast still stood. He never thought he would hear from her again. When Jen got back to Alabama, she remembered the sweet guy who invited her to breakfast (and she was hungry) so she reached out. They scheduled a date for that week and when the day came...Cody never showed up. It turns out Cody had his eye on a Jeep and he got a call that morning that it was his if he picked it up that morning. Cody explained everything and asked if she would reschedule. Jen gave him another shot (and good thing she did). He picked her up in his new Jeep, they had breakfast and now you're invited to their wedding!
