Their story started with a crush: Jenny on her older brother's college roommate and best friend, Chris on his buddies bubbly little sister. As the years went by this is how their relationship remained, both separately living their lives but unable to avoid flirting with one another when together. Once while Chris was on a cabin ski trip with his friend Anthony's family, their flirtation was impossible not to notice. They stood on the table singing karaoke to "Picture" by Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock, giggled all weekend and Kathy thought to herself: "should I be locking everyone's doors at night?". However, they remained friends for years through their brother Anthony. Chris moved to San Diego and Jenny graduated from JMU and moved to Jersey City. There Jenny found out her brother was dating her best friend and roommate Lindsay and was livid, but we all know how that ended... little did she know she'd find herself in the same situation shortly after. Three and a half years ago Jenny went out to San Diego to visit her friend Madison and has lived there ever since: not because of the beautiful weather or proximity to the beach, but because of Chris. They "ran into each other" one night while out and the real story began. While it wasn't love at first sight, since sights were set years ago, they decided enough was enough. Oceanside has been nothing but adventures together: living in three different apartments, spending weekends traveling, attending every Philly vs Cali team sporting event, golfing, and not wasting any second enjoying life together. Most importantly they become parents to the other love of their life, their pup Lucy. While they should have gotten together years ago, they have made up for lost time and more. Jenny and Chris, above all, are best friends. The life ahead of them is as bright and silly and wonderful as they are, no matter where these adventure seeking nomads land and root themselves. The next adventure for these two is marriage, and again, it is only just the beginning.
