At the start of our Poconos trip, Chris took a backseat in planning. Jenn suggested a breakfast spot near a waterfall followed by a local vineyard. He didn't seem thrilled by the vineyard but still rolled with the rest of the plans. We had the most delicious country breakfast at Forklift Cafe then made our way to the head of the trail. We walked along the path, climbed what seemed like 100s of stairs and made our way to the top of Dingman's Falls. Jenn was taking pictures when she felt Chris get behind her. She thought his movements were "off," so maybe he's over this and is ready to leave? Nope! At that moment, Chris looked into Jenn's eyes and said "I have an important question to ask you..." dropping to his knee, "Will you marry me?" It might have been the complete surprise that caused the immediate big, fat happy tears response. Eventually Jenn whimpered out a "YES!" and he placed the ring on her finger. Now we are ready for this next chapter to begin!
