Trinity Wellness Spa & Fitness

Use of the fitness center and sauna included with stay! Ask the Lodge front desk for the code to get in. Spa services must be booked 48hrs in advance! call or email (trinitymindbodysoul.com). Complete spa services include deep tissue, Swedish, reflexology, Shiatsu, la-stone, pre-natal, and lymphatic drainage. Facials and skin-care also available, plus crystal healing.

Bear Valley Adventure Company (BVAC)

Bear Valley Adventure Company is just a 5 min walk from the Lodge! They are open 9am to 5pm daily. They offer hiking trail maps, mountain bike rentals, canoe rentals, disc golf rentals, tennis and pickleball rentals, and fishing supplies and license purchase. They also have a mini-mart with refreshments and cold drinks, 24/7 gas station, and Reba's Toll house Cafe (open 11am-3pm). Check out the website for more details on all they have to offer!

Calaveras Big Trees State Park

From the lodge, Big Trees State Park is about a 30 min drive southwest on HWY 4. Enjoy a leisurely hike through the park of giant sequoias! See website for more details and directions.

Lake Alpine (weather permitting)

From the lodge, Lake Alpine is a short 7 min drive northeast on HWY 4. Great spot for a beautiful morning walk and sightseeing! This is our favorite lake to trout fish.

Bear Valley to Lake Alpine trail
