Things To Do

Hit the beach

It is spring break in Fort Lauderdale, so we recommend going north of Fort Lauderdale beach (E Sunrise Blvd) to avoid the collegiate action. For those staying at the W, your resort fee includes 2 beach loungers at the W beach club. There is food/ beverage service at the beach hut.

Hugh Taylor Birch State Park

3109 East Sunrise Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304

Beautiful park right next to the beach to explore. There's a 2 mile loop that we enjoy walking.

Golf

There is no shortage of wonderful golf courses throughout SE Florida. Some of Brian's favorite courses include: -Pompano Beach Golf Course - Pines Course -Plantation Preserve Golf Course & Club -Jacaranda Golf Club -Palm Beach Par-3 Golf Course

Coffee/ Breakfast

-Archibalds Village Bakery: a couple blocks from the W, fabulous breakfast pastries and coffee. They're known for their cinnamon buns! -Wells Coffee: for those staying around Downtown/ Las Olas, Wells is our personal favorite -Cafe Bastille: great brunch with a fun atmosphere -Grateful Juice Bar: smoothies & açaí close to the W -Pura Vida: fast casual health food -Top Hat Deli: awesome reubens sandwiches -Coyo Taco: Best Mexican food outside of Mexico

Lunch/Dinner

-Louie Bossi's: an iconic Ft. Lauderdale classic! Great vibes and in the heart of Las Olas -Greek Islands Taverna: more North along A1A. Highly recommend for authentic Greek food -The Pizza Spot + Riverside Market Cafe: if you're looking for a more lowkey vibe, grab a pizza and head over to Riverside for a laidback bar scene -Daniel's: fabulous steakhouse! If you can't score a table, try D's Sports Bar right next door -Mister O1: awesome pizza spot in Flagler Village, close to Las Olas. Dave Portnoy even rated this an 8.9! -Coconuts: another classic FLL favorite, but a bit touristy. Known for their Scoobies, warm crab claws in a garlicky butter sauce -Ukiah: Japanese/ BBQ fusion! -Worthwyld: clean eats on Las Olas -Coyo Taco: Best Mexican food outside of Mexico -Anthony's Runway 84: Upscale Italian
