We both grew up in Mebane, probably passed each other a hundred times without realizing what the future had in store. Life took us in different directions, each of us going through our own ups and downs, learning, growing, and healing along the way. It wasn’t until a recovery banquet that things finally lined up. One of us was speaking, the other was in the crowd and in that moment, something just felt different. That night sparked a connection that neither of us saw coming but both of us felt deeply.
