The bride and groom have coordinated a bar crawl on Thursday afternoon/evening for any guests who are in town. We will begin around 3pm at Raleigh Beer Garden, and will hop to other bars along Glenwood Ave throughout the evening. See below for the detailed schedule. All are welcome to join us at any point and stay for as long as you'd like! 3pm: Raleigh Beer Garden (614 Glenwood Ave) 4:30pm: Milk Bar (410 Glenwood Ave) 6pm: Hibernian Irish Pub (311 Glenwood Ave) 7:30pm: Lucky B's (609 Tucker St) 9pm: Tin Roof (300 Glenwood Ave)
The groom's college campus is located just two miles away from downtown Raleigh! Be sure to check out the Belltower and the Brickyard on NC State's campus, and Carter-Finley Stadium, home of the wolfpack.
The bride's college campus is just a thirty minute drive from the venue. Take a Friday afternoon trip to check out Duke's gothic architecture, stroll through the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, and visit the legendary Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Raleigh has a great restaurant and bar scene. Some of our favorite restaurants include Tobacco Road Sports Cafe & Brewery (the location of our Welcome Party), The Pit (best barbeque), Big Ed's (breakfast), Morgan Street Food Hall (great for lunch), and The Raleigh Times (a classic!). Some of the most fun bars in Raleigh can be found on Glenwood Ave, including Milk Bar, Hibernian Irish Pub, and Raleigh Beer Garden. Other great bars closer to the venue include Jimmy V's Osteria & Bar (located inside the Sheraton), Woody's, Flying Saucer Draught Emporium, Watts & Ward, and Boxcar Bar & Arcade.
