After a few months of dating in 2006, Aubrey took a job opportunity in New York, so he relocated to Queens. Now, just a little over a 3 hour drive from Boston, Aubrey and Jen would see each other almost every weekend for the next two years. Jen moved to Atlanta in February 2008 after finishing school and receiving her bachelor's degree. Aubrey moved back to Atlanta as well, so the two of them could be together and live locally. Aubrey proposed to Jen seven months after they both were in Atlanta and they got married the following year on July 26, 2009. Justice the eldest son was 9-years-old when the couple said their vows in 2009. They welcomed their son, Farai, in 2011, and their daughter, Asala, in 2015. The couple purchased their first home in 2014. After the COVID19 pandemic, they decided to expand their hunt for a new home outside of Georgia. They selected McKinney, Texas in 2021 after looking for a new area to begin their next chapter of life and continue raising their family. Aubrey and Jen experienced highs, lows, and growing pains throughout the years and their union prevailed because of their conscious decision to "do the work." They pursued healing in counseling/therapy individually, and as a couple while strengthening their faith in Jesus Christ. In fact, Aubrey got baptized in February 2023. The couple welcomed their daughter-in-love, Paula, Justice's wife to the family in 2023 as well. Aubrey and Jen understand their marriage is a covenant with God, so they pray without ceasing, study the bible, and attend church services together. In year 16, their marriage is a display of resiliency, friendship, everlasting love and a true testament to the grace and goodness of God.
