There's a dam or two on the farm if you want to cool down, hiking and mountain-biking trails if you want to heat up, and birds a-plenty if you want to twitch. Riebeeck Kasteel is only 15 minutes' drive from Goedgedacht, with its host of quirky shops and restaurants. And conveniently enough, Allesverloren and Kloovenburg wine estates are pretty nearby too (just don't get too pissed before the ceremony, please).
