Things To Do
Sandpoint is a beautiful lake town with much to do. There are plenty of great hikes nearby, and driving up to Schweitzer Mountain gives you an amazing view of the town and Lake Pend Oreille. In the winter, Schweitzer is a popular ski resort, and in the warmer months the lake is perfect for boating and spending time out on the water. There are also a few golf courses in the area. If you feel like exploring, Coeur d’Alene is only about a 45–60 minute drive and has lots of fun spots to check out as well.
