Our story begins almost 10 years ago as college students, busy going to class, living life and playing softball and baseball. At the end of my senior year, Nathan and I would meet because of our connection through CSUN sports and we very quickly became a part of each other's lives in a way that we both knew would somehow and someway, last forever. Nathan and I dated for almost two years, but our young love was not yet ready to flourish. We both decided that we needed to go our separate ways, as friends. Over the next three years, we casually kept in contact and talked mostly about sports (naturally, if you know Nathan). Of course, he was waiting for the day that I was ready to come back to him. In June of 2016, that day would finally arrive. We sparked up a casual conversation and we both immediately knew that our timing was finally right... or so we thought! Nathan and I quickly rekindled and picked up right where we left off, over three years prior. Unfortunately, we were living in two different states. For the next two years, I flew to Phoenix to visit Nathan and he flew to Austin to come visit me. Although we were having some amazing times traveling together and creating some very fond memories, we both knew that this was not enough. Eventually, we decided that moving to Arizona would be best for both of us. The best decision I have ever made! We have now lived together, in Central Phoenix, for over 2 years and our journey has been nothing short of wild and amazing! While wine tasting in Temecula, Ca. for my 30th birthday, in front of many of our closest family and friends, Nathan asked me if I would marry him. I could not have pictured a more beautiful setting for this moment, surrounded by so many loved ones. As we become husband and wife, on March 7th, 2021, we could not imagine a more perfect way than to celebrate with ALL of our family and friends.
