Of course! And we’ll have some kid-friendly activities & food to keep them happy!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding day will be spent outdoors in Central NY, in August, and the events will go into the evening (fireworks!!!), so please plan to dress accordingly! We want everyone to be comfy, so no elegant fancy dress code! Want to wear sneakers or flip flops? Go for it! Shorts? Ok! Hawaiian tank top? Umm, we gotta draw the line somewhere… Seriously, casual or dressy, you decide! We just want you there, and comfortable!

What is the schedule for the day?

Answer

We are planning a day filled with fun & fellowship with the people most important to us, but with a very non-traditional timeline that might be confusing! So, let us explain.. 3:30- Live music, delicious food, drinks, grazing tables, yard & table games etc all begin at this time! We hope to have something fun to eat, drink & do for everyone, kids & young at heart alike! 4:00 - Group photography with family - we ask that all immediate family be present by this time. 6:00 - Dinnertime! We will be serving our favorite summertime foods…burgers, bbq chicken, baked beans, salads, etc. 6:30-7:45- Cake cutting, desserts, private photography for us, etc will fill the remainder of our pre-ceremony time 7:45 - Guests will be asked to move to the ceremony area. 8:00 - We say I DO!!! And celebrate our love with a fireworks display immediately following our vows. There will be a bonfire following the fireworks for any and all who would like to continue the celebration with us!

Is there a registry?

Answer

No! Honestly, we are kinda old, meaning we’ve had lots of years of accumulating “stuff” and we have everything we “need”. We feel that having the people we love the most sharing the special moments with us on our day is the best gift we could ask for.
