Shelby and I met about 10 years ago, through a mutual friend and our friendship has grown every year since. She is my person...she's also the only person who can text me at 10pm, get me out of my jammies, to meet her for a drink! I can call her for anything and know she will be there in an instant. We've traveled together ("left side, left side, left side"), gone clubbing together (in my single days) and have no problem being the only people on the dance floor, as we arrived too early to a club (LOL!), have cried together, laugh many, many more times together, and I couldn't imagine my life without her in it! She is an amazing woman, wife, mother, friend and survivor and I have so much respect and admiration for her! Im looking forward to having her by my side in May!

I have known my brother all my life! He was exactly what I needed growing up, someone to look up to, someone to back me up in any situation, and someone to make me tougher. He was also the guy that protected me and told on me when I was being rebellious and stealing candy machines, or getting a good laugh out of watching me drink minnow juice over and over without warning...all the great memorable stuff! He paved the way through school for me and I always felt cool knowing that "Pappy" was my brother. I miss the days when we shared a bedroom in the basement because those were the days that I learned all the cool stuff you don't learn in school. I'm proud of the man and father he has become and how "badass" he can be, and I love that I get to have him by my side for this special day.
