The venue is across the river, roughly 15 (car)-30 minutes (ferry). The Canal St. Ferry leaves at :15 and :45 past the hour. From Algiers Point, the ferry leaves on the hour and :30 past the hour. The ferry runs until 12:15am, with the last stop from Canal St. at that time. The Canal St. Ferry is $2pp for one-way trip, or you can purchase a Jazzy Pass for $6, which allows unlimited rides on ferries and streetcars for the entire day! Payments can be made via cash or the RTA Le Pass app. It is a pedestrian/bike-only ferry, YOU CAN NO LONGER DRIVE ONTO THE FERRY.
We wanted to, but with the staggered arrival and departure times for our guests, it was not practical. For those still available on Sunday, we will attend the Po-Boy Festival since the NO Saints are on a bye week.
Not necessary, unless you are planning to visit distant surrounding areas like Slidell or Ninth Ward, about 30 minutes away, or Gulfport, MS - about 75 minutes away.
