Where are the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Easy one: both are in the same place! The Carlisle Room 1990 Jackson St, Dallas, TX 75201

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

Answer

To make sure we get enough food and booze, once the official invites go out, you will have until February 21 to RSVP through the tab at the top of the website.

BUT REALLY, WHAT TIME SHOULD I BE THERE?

Answer

If you know the bride, you know she loves a plan. We ask for guests to arrive around 5-5:15 p.m. (or earlier, see the next question for an inside scoop!) so we can start the ceremony at 5:30 p.m.

Getting to downtown is tough-anything I can do to pass the time?

Answer

Glad you asked! There is a little pub, Harwood Tavern, literally across the corner from the Carlisle Room. If you don't want to mess with downtown traffic but want to make sure you are there around 5 p.m., we encourage you to grab a drink there and wait it out!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Answer

We ask that you don't wear jeans and avoid any whites or creams (Jenny has been waiting for this day for 35 years, so please be kind!). For men, save the shorts and sandals/sneakers for exploring, and please wear slacks, a button down and a jacket; suit is fine too! Ladies, any cocktail dress, floor-length dresses or a jumpsuit/pantsuit works!

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

While we love your kiddos, we are hosting an adults-only celebration, so if you can find a babysitter, we are excited to party with you! For our out of town guests, we are happy to make recommendations for babysitters to come to your hotel to keep your little ones safe. Please reach out if you need some names and recommendations.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

We've chosen to keep our day a little more intimate so we can truly soak up every moment with our nearest and dearest. For that reason, we are only able to invite those listed on the invitation and those listed on the RSVP list. We can't wait to celebrate with YOU!

HOW CAN I GET TO THE VENUE?

Answer

There are Ubers, Taxis and parking lots available for use! If you are staying in Downtown Dallas, an Uber will whisk you from hotel to venue in minutes. If you want to drive, we will have free parking available for you. We will have an open bar, so please play it safe!

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Answer

UPDATE: There is a lot off the cross streets of St. Paul and Wood St. Starting around 4:45, there will be an attendant there to hand you a parking pass to put on your dash to ensure your parking is complimentary.

WHERE IS THE AFTER PARTY?

Answer

Unfortunately, the wedding has to officially end at some point, but the beauty of Downtown Dallas is the afterparty can be wherever you want! You can join the bride and groom at the Statler's bar (literally across the street) for a nightcap and then you can hop around if you want to keep the night going!
