We've had quite a roller coaster ride this year waiting for Cornelius's arrival and we finally have great news. He is arriving this month! While we had an amazing wedding weekend planned with all of you in Oregon's wine county, COVID changed our plans. So now, we will exchange vows privately shortly after his arrival, and look forward to celebrating with friends and family at a cocktail party this December in Chicago. Our story began in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, January 25, 2019 during Jen's girls trip, and Cornelius's business trip. The connection was instant, and when Jen parted to Chicago and Cornelius to South Africa, we knew 9.000 miles wouldn't get in the way of seeing each other again. Six months later, we met in NYC, followed by Cornelius's visit to Chicago. We reunited again on New Years Day, 2020, in South Africa. The remainder of our 2020 visits were cancelled due to COVID, so we're anxiously awaiting Cornelius's move to Chicago in October 2021! We are so excited to start our life together, and are beyond grateful that the stars aligned to bring us together.
