Presque Isle Park
Easy access to beautiful scenery along Lake Superior. Check out the lookouts, black rocks, and sunset point. Always beautiful and always worth visiting.
Sugarloaf Mountain
Take a hike! The beautiful view of Lake Superior is worth the sweat and (what feels like thousands of) stairs to the top.
Hogback Mountain Trail Head
It's sugarloaf mountain on hard mode. :)
McCarty's Cove
Hit the beach on our favorite great lake. Probably can't don your favorite suit, but you may be able to chill on the sand.
Ellwood A Mattson Lower Harbor Park
Walk the path along lake superior and check out the old ore dock or hang out at the playground with great views.
Dead River Falls
Got time for a hike? Check out the trail along Dead River and check out the falls.
Lakenenland
Take a trip out to the (free!) sculpture park for some great photo ops and a nature trail. Great for kids and adults!
Canyon Falls Roadside Park
No, it's technically not in Marquette. HOWEVER, if you have the time it is a beautiful roadside park with amazing views of a Michigan canyon. Can you imagine the fall photo ops? *chef's kiss*

Got kids? Go have fun and hang out at the children's museum!
Marquette Harbor Lighthouse
Check out the lighthouse and museum for some Marquette history.

Book lovers should check out this quaint little bookstore in downtown Marquette.

One of our favorite sports bar in the area, we try to make a trip every time we're in town. Try the veggie wings with 906 sauce (Jenn's favorite) or the Rocket wrap (Coop's favorite).
Lagniappe Cajun Creole Eatery
Get your fill of cajun creole food by getting some po'boys, red beans and rice, frog legs(!), and beignets. Their menu is HUGE and has something for everyone. They also serve brunch on Friday and Saturdays!
