As may of you may know Daniel and I actually met on a dating website! We texted for a little while, and soon we were ready to meet. We had made plans on Saturday night, but Daniel called me early that morning (he was working third shift at that time) and asked me if I would like to have breakfast with him instead. I nervously said yes, but truly I was freaking out! The outfit I had chosen to wear on our date was definitely not a breakfast outfit! So in a panic I got ready, and met Daniel at Denny's for breakfast. When we began talking my nerves instantly were at ease and I felt myself begin to relax. We truly did have such a wonderful time! We spent over an hour (well after eating our food) just laughing and talking about life. The next day we spent the entire day together as well, and made our relationship 'official.' the rest is history💕
I had known the proposal was coming because my mom had generously given me a ring that I was having made into my dream engagement ring. As I impatiently awaited for the jewelry store to call me and tell me it was ready we went on a family trip to Florida. One night after playing Cards Against Humanity with the entire family and laughing so much our cheeks hurt Daniel and I decided to go for a walk on the beach. With only the moonlight to guide us it was perfectly romantic. We talked about how far we had come in our relationship, and as individuals together. Before I knew what was happening Daniel grabbed my hand, and with his voice trembling he got on one knee in the sand and asked me to marry him. I immediately wrapped my arms around his neck, saying of course over and over. That night everything just seemed perfect. The moon shining down on us and the waves crashing. We were the only ones on the beach, but for that second it seemed like we were the only ones in the entire universe.
