What is the dress code?

Answer

Think cocktail meets comfortable! We would love our guests to dress up in whatever they feel comfortable in. Because the wedding is in a cave, it could be on the cooler side (in the 50s) so bring a cardigan or light jacket if you think you might get a little chilly

Will there be food?

Answer

Because the ceremony is in the evening we won’t be offering full meals but instead some finger food/light options. We are delighted to have a grazing table from the Cheese Queen of BG that will be a delicious charcuterie assortment. We are vegan so all food options, including cake and desserts, will be vegetarian or vegan friendly.

What about gifts?

Answer

We are so thankful for everyone involved in our wedding day and beyond grateful for any gift you would want to bring. On the registry tab of this website you can find some things we’ve added that we would love to have. We aren’t looking for many “things” but rather planning a move to a new city after the wedding and adding to our savings. That is the biggest way to help us and is a gift that will always keep on giving. If you are looking for an item instead of just giving to our fund, please consider the items on our list or sourcing through local artists.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes! We welcome anyone who wants to celebrate us and enjoy the evening.

Where should I stay if I’m coming from out of town?

Answer

We are directing all guests to Staybridge Suites. It is less than a mile from the venue and very comfortable.

When should I get there?

Answer

Guests can arrive no sooner than 6:30 pm. The ceremony will begin at 7 pm and last approximately 30 minutes. The reception will be from 8:00-12:00 with everyone leaving by 2:00 am. Parking is available in the big lot at the back of the road when you first enter Lost River Cave. Drive past the gift shop and front parking spots and there will be an open area with plenty of space for parking as well as Lost River employees with golf carts to drive you if you prefer not to walk downhill :)

Is there a seating arrangement?

Answer

We have 50 chairs available but anticipate more guests than that. Please leave the first 2 rows for family and bridal/grooms party and then fill in the rest. If you are able to stand, please allow time for others to sit that need a chair.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot available for all guests at the entrance of the space. There will be workers directing you where to go. There will also be golf carts available to ride down into the cave if you are not comfortable walking downhill.
