Do I have to stay for the entire Hindu ceremony?
Answer
No, the Hindu ceremony will last 1-1.5 hours, which we all understand is a lot. Please do not feel obligated to stay for the entire ceremony.

What type of attire should I wear?
Answer
We are so glad you will be celebrating with us! Please wear whatever is comfortable. If the weather is nice, the Hindu ceremony will take place outside so please be prepared for Chicago fall weather if you are planning to attend that portion of the wedding. Both Indian and Western attire are welcome, so feel free to choose what suits you best. If you're interested in Indian clothing, online stores like House of Indya, Utsav, Aza Fashions, and Kalki Fashion are some options. Indian wedding guests often wear bright colors, so feel free to have fun with your outfit! There's an option to change between the ceremony and reception, but sticking with one look is totally fine too. Most importantly, wear what makes you comfortable and ready to celebrate!
