Wedding Party

Benjamin Schneider

Officiant

Both the cousin of the bride and our officiant, we could not be happier to have Ben officiate our wedding. His kind demeanor, ability to listen and affirm our feelings and vision for our wedding and our life together has made planning our ceremony a memory we will cherish for years to come. Thank you for traveling to Illinois to help make this day a reality for us.

Julie Wolf

Maid of Honor

My sister is the keeper of memories, new and old, that we've built over our lifetime. Be it whispers during our childhood after we had gone to bed or the rambling phone calls in which we discuss everything from recent books and world events to which flavor of icing is preferred if eaten straight from the container, Julie is one of the people in my life whom always knows what to say to make my day better. She is the kindest and most empathetic individual I know. She sees the best in everyone and accepts them for who they are.

Ophelia Sidmore

Bridesmaid

From the moment I met her, I knew that Ophelia was someone special. This kind, passionate, inquisitive young woman has taught me how to find the good in everything and to be open and present to all those around me. I never knew how much I could love someone, then Ophelia came and I understood, what a blessing it is to have a niece.

Jennifer Richardson

Bridesmaid

“Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything.” Thank you, Jennifer, for 35 years of friendship-if only everyone could be so lucky to meet their best friend 15 minutes after they arrive for Freshman Orientation on their college campus.

Holly Schlesser

Bridesmaid

To the gal that pushes me out of my comfort zone and challenges me to take risks, thank you for being one of my closest friends. Your energy for life and our adventures are some of my fondest memories. There's a saying about friendship that states, "“Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.” I'll see you on the bus, my friend.

Avery Wilson

Bridesmaid

Avery brings energy to everything she does, be it directing the Marching Tiger Band in her role as a Drum Major, playing trumpet with the pep band or crushing it in her AP Government Class. If you are lucky enough to be able to get onto Avery's calendar, make sure you slow down for a Starbucks drive through run and then head out on an adventure as she's a great partner in all things, but book your time with her soon, she leaves for Clemson University this fall. Avery, you make our world a brighter place and we love the passion you exhibit for everything you do. Thank you for being a part of our special day.

Charles Wilson

Best Man

If you've ever considered owning a Corgi, Charlie is the guy to chat with. A natural born athlete, keeper of a vast knowledge of all things sports related and a lover of dogs, Charlie, you make us smile and keep us on our toes with all sports related trivia and facts. Thank you for being a part of our wedding.

Raymond Murray

Groomsman

Raymond has had the distinct pleasure or displeasure of being my college roommate for two years. It couldn't have been too bad for him, we're still good friends today. And, apparently, Raymond saved my life in college, although I'm not too sure about that story.

Michael Harper

Groomsman

I met Mike freshman year of college. We were great friends in school and Mike and his wife, Amanda, have always been there for me, especially when I was living in Atlanta. That bond of friendship continues to this day.

Petja Waider

Groomsman

Life long friend, we met looking for a lost tooth in the Lego box at preschool and have remained great friends ever since. Petja and Heather are Avery's Godparents and have been a big part of our lives for a long time.

Andrew Matteson

Groomsman

Andy helped me get through law school and kept me sane for those three years. Andy and I have seen more bad movies together than either of us would care to admit. Biosphere, any one?

Trenton Schlesser

Usher

An avid hockey player, my godson, Trenton, has taught me what it means to be the "cool aunt". Whether scoring a goal at the rink, accompanying me into the city to watch a Broadway show or explaining where the best snack bar at the United Center is, Trenton does it all with ease and style.

Arlo Sidmore

Ring Bearer

From the moment he heard of the engagement, Arlo wanted to be a part of our wedding. Whether it be as one who helped choose the wedding cake or brings us our wedding rings, we love that you want to help us celebrate.

Amy Simler

Reader

As one who keeps everything in perspective and is able to solve all problems, Amy is the one we run to when we need a little help with any situation. Perpetually calm with a positive attitude, Amy is quick with a funny text or story to bring some laughter into every situation.

Chrissy McManus

Reader

Chrissy is always there with a smile, and, a helping hand. If you're really lucky, this exemplary math teacher will not only make you laugh but also ask you which train will arrive at the station first if they both left from opposite ends of the track at the same time. I still don't know the answer.

William and Alex Wolf

Honor Attendant

Whether it be handing out our wedding program or making and editing live action movies throughout the house, William and Alex are ready to give any activity their full attention. Thank you, gentlemen, for taking such an active role in our wedding.

John and Jason Wolf

Usher

My brothers, John and Jason have been the source of many laughs and a couple bruises over the years. Growing up with these two certainly had its moments of laughter and perhaps a tiny bit of screaming. Who knew that when brothers grow taller than you they actually do remember when you pinned them to the ground as a 7th grader and do make good on their promise to get you back when they're older??
