We’re getting married!

We met on a beautiful cold December morning at Genesis Church in Munford, TN. It was Bryan's first visit there. It was as if God sent an early Christmas present to me that would last a lifetime. When I walked in the door of a lobby full of people, the only thing I saw was this man that I had never seen before and my soul was instantly drawn to him. I knew at that moment I had to meet him. I went to my seat to put my things down and went back out to the lobby to get my coffee, making sure to walk right by this man and make eye contact with him. I got my coffee and had some fellowship time out in the lobby, and of course I was keeping my eye on this man I had never seen before. At the end of the service, Pastor Bodie asked if some people would come to the front to pray with those that may need someone to pray with them. And who walks up there? Yep, that man I had never seen before. I thought maybe he was confused, or lost, or he just didn't understand the question that Bodie asked. But it made me want to talk to him more than I already did! After the service everyone was out in the lobby talking and trying to figure out lunch. I walked by that man again ( on purpose, of course ) and I overheard him talking about when he gets his kids and when he doesn't have his kids. So, I figured out he was probably divorced or going through it. At this point, I knew I was going to have to figure out a way to talk to him. Lucky for me, the church was starting on the Gkids project and they were going to need help. Also lucky for me, the mystery man was talking about helping with it! And lucky for US, we both ended up helping with the project. I made sure I was up there everyday after work if I could have been. I was able to be up there most nights, and that's when we got to know each other a little more. He finally asked for my number and a date, and we have been together ever since.
