There are plenty of flight options to either London Heathrow or London Gatwick (choose whichever your preferred airline services). Red eye flights are easy for those looking to maximize time. However, if you're worried about sleeping on the plane, we suggest looking into the day flights. These leave the states early morning and arrive in London that same evening. *Please observe that the UK will now require all travelers to obtain an ETA visa ahead of visiting.
