Once upon a time, Ryan and Julia met in a magical place called Duck Dive, in the faraway kingdom of Pacific Beach, San Diego. It was a beautiful, sunny June day in 2019, and they had both planned to go out for brunch and bottomless mimosas with a group of their mutual friends from college at San Diego State University. When their friends introduced them, Julia saw Ryan's green eyes and was instantly captivated. Ryan saw the giant pile of fries Julia had ordered, and he felt the same way. It was love at first sight! (or bite?) Julia had initially planned to move home after college, but as fate would have it, she ended up staying in San Diego, where she and Ryan started their relationship. A few years later, they moved in together and adopted their beautiful kitty, Link! After six wonderful years of adventures together, in June 2025, they went on their second trip to Europe, where they explored Florence, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast. At a winery in the gorgeous hills of Tuscany, Ryan asked Julia to marry him. Luckily, she said yes, and now they're going to live happily ever after!
