The ceremony and reception is indoors but there will be an hour-long intermission where you will be outside so please dress accordingly. The average temperature according to Google is High 54 degrees and low 34 degrees.
5pm Guests are allowed entry & directed to Mershon Hall. 5:20pm All guests are comfortably seated. 5:20pm - 5:40pm Ceremony (I do!) 5:40pm - 6pm Ceremony Photos with Guests.
Vendors need to set up for the reception therefore all guests are asked to leave the hall and return for the reception later. During this hour long break, guests are welcome to take photos around the garden and enjoy the Garden Lights Event on their own.
Every year the Atlanta Botanical Garden puts up holiday lights for their guests. It's quite the event and it's also spectacular to see. Since you're already there to attend our wedding, we are allocating time for the guests (and for us) to walk around and enjoy the lights. Also, Saturday January 15th is the last day of the Garden Lights Event so please enjoy it that night to the fullest! Dress warmly! These are the time slots that we've allocated for you to enjoy the Garden Lights during the wedding: 6pm - 7pm 10pm - 11pm
Reception starts around 7:15pm at the same place we had the Ceremony (Mershon Hall). You might be able to go inside the reception hall around 7pm. We just need to make sure the vendors have had enough time to set up before we start barging back in there.
