Jenna first met David during freshman orientation week at a college bonfire, but it was at swing dance club where he really caught her attention. Known for his bold and playful confidence, he would walk up to groups of girls, throw his arms in the air, and ask if anyone wanted to dance. Jenna always said yes, and he quickly became her favorite partner. Friends noticed, especially Jenna’s friend Gabby, who decided to help things along. She seated Jenna next to David at an orchestra concert, where the two spent the night quietly talking and laughing. Soon after, a “low-key” movie night involved some very intentional furniture rearranging to ensure David sat next to Jenna. Clueless, he had missed all the signs until she hugged him goodbye. After matching at the Halloween swing dance and answering plenty of questions about their relationship, the two finally made it official. They spent the rest of college side by side and got engaged in October of their senior year.
