Centrally located between four major cities, Antequera provides access to plenty of things to do and places to explore. Here are some of our recommendations of things to do during your visit (when you are not celebrating with us, of course!).

Alcazaba

It can be a little tricky to find the road leading up to the Alcazaba. It is a very small and odd turn that we missed more than once when we visited. We recommend taking a rideshare or walking from town.

El Torcal de Antequera

Be sure to check out this stunning nature reserve with the most unique rock formations and amazing views! Enjoy an early morning or evening hike (when it's not too hot!).

Peña de los Enamorados

Please note, it is a long and steep walk from the Alcazaba to the top of the Castillo. You can also take bus #35 from Avenida de Cervantes. We promise the views are worth it! You can buy a combined ticket for both the Alcazaba and the Castillo for €5.50 per person (or free on Sundays after 2pm).
