The Lord had begun orchestrating a beautiful symphony of intrigue and interest between us during leadership training for Celebrate Recovery. Let it be known neither of us were searching or were interested in dating. The Lord began forming a friendship between us first and foremost. But then, we were at the Italian Fest on July 18th, and neither one of us knew we were there. But God….in His infinite wisdom, had made it known to Jenn that I was there. Jenn battled the Lord and said that there was no way I was there. She argued and argued. Amongst thousands of people, it was as if the Lord parted the Red Sea and low and behold, I was standing twenty feet in front of her! She screamed and immediately ran towards me, grabbed me and hugged me for what seemed like forever. At this point, I knew something was up! We began texting that night, and started hanging out after CR leadership meetings every Tuesday and started to get to know one another. After spending many days together, the connection became more apparent. Our love for Jesus was and will remain the center of our beginning and our forever. The Lord began to reveal that this was more than just a dating relationship. This was more like a courtship towards marriage. We both just knew! And things began to fall into place as He would have them. The Lord began to establish themes and has continually given both of us glimpses of a future together. Something only the Lord could do! I proposed to Jenn on December 30th in the same spot where our beginning happened at Italian Fest. It was where intrigue lead to interest, which lead to investment and serving the Lord together in ministry for His glory. We had prayed for someone to come alongside to do ministry with, if ever and whenever that was to happen! The Lord came through! He’s been showing us so many amazing things so far and we’re both more than excited to continue to give Him all the glory, honor and praise! Blessings abound!!!! All God, all good!
